In Which I Say, Goodbye

I've decided that I'm going to give up blogging... maybe permanatly, maybe not. At the moment with school going on, my social life, and drama starting, I just don't have the time, or the energy to blog anymore. I've run out of ideas (not that they were ever that great to begin with-heh). Hopefully at somepoint I'll resurface. It probably wont be for at least 6 months, or it may be 6 years. And I don't even know if I'll come back as Mookie. I'm thinking that the Rachael is out growing the Mookie.

I'm hopefully not going to be disappearing, just.. not blogging. I intend to continue reading my friends in MuNuviana and elsewhere. And I will still haunt the MuNu portal (Cause ya know Pixy, that music you put up there, just flat out Rocks!!). So you can stop by and say hey on my little forum there, or you can email me at mookie_riffic -at- yahoo- dot- com.

So since I'm one of those people that like to wrap things up nice and neat, here are a few last notes and comments.

Pixy, I can't express my thanks enough for you allowing me to be a MuNuvian. It was great and I loved every second of it. You're awesome.

EC Glass Students/1 Act Play people, I appologize for my rather... scathing posts on the competition. It wasn't sportsmanship like of me. I hope you will accept my sincere appology. I would like to here from my previous commenters again, via email if they would like to talk. (Refrenced here, here, and here.)

Various people: Thanks for reading my stuff, I really appreciate it. Have fun, see ya around.

Also, I jsut wanted to make sure that everybody knows why I'm not blogging. Its partly the time and motivation necessary, which I don't have. But for the past couple months, I haven't really been enjoying blogging. Its been a bit of a chore for me. Maybe I just burned my self out to early by being overly zelous, but now, eh. I can go days at a time with out checking my blog.. mostly because I don't want to.

So...thats about it....
-Rachael

well Miss Rachael, I for one will miss reading your blog posts, but can easily understand that blogging does have its moments of 'ho-hum, it just doesn't thrill me any longer.' It's tough to keep it up, especially with everything else we have to do in a day's timeframe.

Hopefully you'll stop by here and there and let us know how you're doing. We'll miss ya, the Miss Formerly Known as Mookie. :-)

Sorry to see you go and I hope to see you at sometime in the future when you have more time. I can understand what you are going through since I have been pretty remiss in the recent past about updating my blog.
Good luck and do well in school, that is what really matters.

Mookie,
It's understandable but not any less regretable. Hope you do well in the things that are taking you away form us, & I hope that those things quiet down enough to let you return one day.

take care

Good luck in the real world Mookie, i'm glad to have met you, even if it was only in this virtual world of the blogosphere. In fact, i feel like i was present at the birth of Mookie Riffic, since i still remember that e-mail you sent me so long ago asking me what i thought about the Blogger/Blogspot program.

Sniff, sniff, you've grown so much since then..

just kidding. Take care and don't be a stranger to your mu.nu friends!

Before you leave, I just happened to stumble on the whole one act play thing and have a few questions/ things to say. I do go to E.C. Glass and was a head technician for the competition that you attended, not a technician for God Lives. I would like to let you know that the competition was held in the middle of one of our musicals, Tommy -- so you may have seen our theatre in a less than perfect state, sorry. Personally, I found the whole competition a bit childish. Many technical crew members from other schools were very amateur and unprofessional. It was difficult to deal with many schools and some students were down right rude to my crew. Let me just say that my crew did it’s best to provided as much technical assistance and supervision in the most respectful and professional way. Please if you feel that in any way any member of the E.C. Glass technical staff acted inappropriately or unprofessionally let me know. In regards to the posts about God Lives in Glass: please don’t let the comments of a few represent a whole. The E.C. Glass Technical Staff worked very hard to host that competition while staffing two other major shows and a small one act show that we performed at the competition. When my crew left for the day we felt that we did a good job, however, a few people from other schools obviously felt cheated. When we returned to the theatre the next day we found it trashed: The house lighting controls, fly rail, and sound system were damaged. Fire extinguishers were discharged all over the theatre. Several fly lines that were safely tied off were untied and left hanging out of balance. I would like to say to the person or persons who did this: If you felt the need to trash our theatre, realize that the only harm you did was to the people who did the most to help your show succeed. Again, I would like to ask if you feel that any E.C. Glass crew member acted poorly during the competition. Please know that the Technicians at Glass did everything we could to make your show a success.
