Things.

Wow. I’ve been super busy lately. As you can see I'm almost done tweaking the template (not really, its an ongoing process, but its almost good enough to “officially” transfer from Blogger).

So lets see, what have I been up too? Well quite a bit. At work I caught up on three years worth of filing, I learned to work two of the machines (the glaucoma test and one other I can never remember the name too), and I learned how to file insurance claims and keep the books up.

Oh yeah! And today on the way home from work me and mom stopped at a Taco Bell/KFC-all in one place to get dinner. Mom went inside and I just stayed in the car, but I got bored so I went through my mom’s cell phone’s phone book and found my Grandpa’s number. No one in my family has been able to get a hold of him for a while so I figured “Okay why not. He wont answer anyway”. I called him. He answered. WOW!

So me and my Grandpa talked for a bit, until mom came back with the food. She didn’t know who I was talking to until I told her, and she was super surprised. So they talked, and we went home.

Now for the bad news. My Great Aunt is dieing of leukemia. I’ve never met her, but I think it hit dad kind of hard. But I'm not sure. She is apparently to the point where she can’t do anything by herself, she’s with her family at home, and is trying to hang on till her 71st birthday-the 8th-same Birthday as dad’s. I told my grandpa to give my condolences to the family, mom freaked out at the fact that I could be that nice/polite/heaven-forbid-sweet.

Unfortunately in hearing about my Great Aunt I remembered when I found out that my grandma (Fathers side) died. I don’t like to remember that, but then again who would? I had to fight real hard to keep my voice from cracking when talking to mom about it, and I realized I have a lot of built up resentment left over from that day. Mostly aimed towards my Aunt and Uncle (mothers side) who were living with us. My main grievance towards them (of many) is that they were there when we found out. I just don’t believe that they should have been there, it should have been a private FAMILY moment, and I always thought that they intruded on it. I know that they are family, but they were the wrong branch of the tree in my eyes. But who knows, I only remember that day through the eyes of a fifth (I think it was fifth) grader.

Well I got other things to do right now, post again later. Oh and for those that care, I finished my government assignment!!! I am so happy about that!!! Now I just have to finish English *grimaces*
